Currently based in Hamilton, ON, J FU is a solo live-looping artist blending Alt Rock and Electronic into immersive live performances.

Using a cutting-edge setup featuring dual RC-505MKII loop stations, a Roland TR-6S drum machine, Kaoss Pad KP3+, and a Nektar Pacer MIDI foot controller, J FU builds full songs live—layering guitar, bass (via the Electro-Harmonix Bass9), vocals, and drums in real time.

His dual-looper configuration allows independent control over vocals and instruments, enabling dynamic effects, real-time arrangement changes, and full creative freedom on stage. Performances balance raw energy with technical precision, drawing audiences into the construction of each song as it unfolds.

With prior solo gig experience and a growing online following, J FU is now preparing to bring this evolving live show to more stages. He is available for solo sets, festival slots, and live looping showcases, delivering a one-of-a-kind performance experience.

His debut single “Get Away”, from his upcoming album Escape Routes, releases February 20.

Escape Routes is J FU’s debut album about breaking free — literally and mentally — exploring themes of freedom, struggle, and self-discovery through live-built instrumentation, looping, and atmospheric textures.

The album translates raw emotion and movement into live-constructed performances that blur the line between studio production and the stage, designed for both immersive listening and the live experience.

The full debut album Escape Routes is scheduled for release in late 2026.

GET AWAY (Official Teaser) is J FU's debut single as a live looping artist, recorded live in Ableton using an RC-505mkII and TR-6S drum machine, with guitars, vocals, and atmospheric layers overdubbed. The bass is his guitar through an Electro-Harmonix Bass9 pedal. This teaser sets the tone for his debut album Escape Routes — about breaking free, literally and mentally. Full release: Feb 20
